Biography

I started my pharmacy career in 2015, as an undergraduate pharmacy student at Keele University. After graduating in the summer of 2019, I commenced my role as pre-registration community pharmacist during the COVID-19 pandemic.

After completing my pre-registration year in the summer of 2020, I started working as a as a Band 6 Rotational Clinical Pharmacist, at the Royal Stoke University Hospital. As time progressed, I stepped up to a Band 7 Rotational Specialist Clinical Pharmacist. During my role as a rotational pharmacist, I gained exposure of a variety of specialties including Medicine, Surgery, Trauma, Medicine Information and Critical Care.

In 2023 I completed the Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy. Then in 2024 I obtained the Independent Prescribing qualification.

I joined the University of Nottingham and the Nottingham University Hospital (QMC), in September 2025 as a Teacher Practitioner and Surgical Pharmacist. My role in the university will be teaching on the MPharm course, in particular the pharmacy practice and clinical elements of the course.
