Heidi Winklhofer is a Professor of Marketing and currently Head of the Marketing Division at the University of Nottingham where she has worked since 1998. Prior to this she held a lecturing post at Loughborough University and worked as Research Assistant at Swansea University where she completed her PhD.

Heidi is an Associate Editor for the Journal of Services Marketing. She collaborates with the Smart Products Beacon based at the University of Nottingham and works closely with Experience Analytics overseeing Research and Analytics.

She has published in a number of leading international journals, including Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of Service Research, International Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Interactive Marketing and International Journal of Forecasting. Heidi has a long-standing interest in research methods and co-authored a seminal article on Formative Measurement Models.

Areas of Expertise
Her research interests are in the areas of services marketing, customer value and experience measurement, and the ways customers are co-creating their experiences or well-being through learning and engagement practices.

Heidi teaches quantitative research methods at the Business School on the Doctoral and MSc Programmes. Heidi was the Director of the Doctoral Programme for seven years, she enjoys working with Doctoral students and has extensive supervision experience. She was awarded a Staff Oscar for most aspirational teacher (Runner Up) by PhD students.

Current projects involve working with colleagues from the Medical and Business School on understanding engagement practices with Digital solutions and wearable technology to enhance user experiences and well-being. Heidi has a long-standing interest in the measurement of user experiences across a range of contexts.
