Get on your bike for Children's Brain Tumour Research

13 August 2014

You have just a few days left to go the extra mile for children’s brain tumour research!

This year’s Life Cycle is fast approaching but there is still just enough time for you to get on your bike on Sunday 31 August for this year’s Life Cycle and help fight the UK’s leading cause of cancer deaths in children.

We’re delighted to invite all Nottingham University Business School alumni back onto campus on Sunday 31 August so they can do their bit. We have four sponsored circular routes on offer, all in aid of Children’s Brain Tumour Research:

75 mile Nottingham Challenge Ride (£20 entry or £25 on the day)

50 mile Nottingham Challenge Ride (£18 entry or £10 for juniors or £23/£15 on the day)

12 mile Community Life Cycle (£6 for adults or £1 for juniors, £10/£2 on the day)

6.5 mile Community Life Cycle (£6 for adults or £1 for juniors, £10/£2 on the day)

Invite family and friends along to Nottingham Lakeside Arts to cheer you on and enjoy a BBQ and post-ride celebrations. There will be something for everyone on the day and every penny raised will go towards vital research to help young brain tumour sufferers and their families. Find out more.

Worldwide, over 30,000 children each year are diagnosed with cancer of the brain or central nervous system. And every year around 450 of those children are in the UK. However our survival rates are among the lowest in Europe. Your support for Life Cycle 4 on Sunday 31 August will enable crucial advances to be made into understanding the cause, nature, treatment and outcomes of childhood brain tumours.

We look forward to welcoming you to Nottingham Lakeside Arts on Sunday 31 August!
