Placements and internships

Looking to gain some work experience? It's a great way to develop your skills, get an insight into what jobs really involve and make contacts for the future. For some jobs and courses, it's imperative that you gain some experience in the workplace.

These events focus on finding out what's on offer, how to apply and make the most of work placements, internships and the optional Placement Year.

Some sessions are targeted at particular courses with other sessions open to all.

    This interactive workshop will support you to turn your placement experience into a powerful tool for career growth. We’ll guide you through assessing your achievements, identifying the skills and knowledge you’ve gained, and articulating these in future job applications and interviews. This session will help you consolidate your experiences and leverage them for future success.
