Current Research

My research is in mathematical/computational biology. I work on modelling to address cardiac electrophysiology questions, particularly pharmaceutical drug safety (this involves mathematical modelling of ion channels, drug interactions with ion channels, cardiac action potential modelling, cardiac tissue modelling and arrhythmia mechanisms). On the mathematical side I am interested in statistical inference for mechanistic models, and in particular experimental design to help calibrate model parameters, select between alternative models, and assess model discrepancy. Please see my research homepage for more information.
