Returning Computer Science students are busy in the A32 Computer Lab taking part in an all day programming competition organised by Lecturer Max Wilson. The competition involves trying to solve up to 10 problems in 5 hours of extreme programming in teams of 3 around a single computer. Solutions can be programmed in either Java or C++, and will be automatically judged. The competition is in the style of the ACM ICPC, and is in preparation for sending teams to this year's NWERC in Delft. The competition started at 11am and will complete at 4pm, with winners and prizes announced straight after.
