AVEC 2013 – 3rd International Audio/Visual Emotion Challenge and Workshop

The Audio/Visual Emotion Challenge and Workshop (AVEC 2013) is a competition event aimed at comparison of multimedia processing and machine learning methods for automatic audio, visual and audio-visual emotion analysis.

The AVEC 2013 edition features besides emotion recognition the serious and important automatic estimation of levels of depression.

Dr Michel Valstar, Lecturer in the Mixed Reality Lab, is one of the organisers of the competition.

The workshop will take place in October in Barcelona, Catalunya, Spain.
