Patent on High Dynamic Range Imaging Technology

An advanced digital imaging method jointly developed by Dr Guoping Qiu's team and industrial collaborators has been granted a US patent (US Patent No. 7,639,893).

Dr Guoping Qiu, Associate Professor and Reader in Visual Information Processing, initiated high dynamic range imaging research here in the School of Computer Science in 2002.
