Prof Francisco Herrera appointed to Honorary Professor

We are pleased to announce that Prof Francisco Herrera accepted to be appointed as Honorary Professor at the School of Computer Science for a period of three years.

Prof Francisco Herrera is Full Professor and Head of Research Group SCI²S (Soft Computing and Intelligent Information Systems) at the University of Granada, Spain.
He has published more than 180 papers in international journals and is coauthor of the book “Genetic Fuzzy Systems: Evolutionary Tuning and Learning of Fuzzy Knowledge Bases" (World Scientific, 2001).
Francisco Herrera's h-index is 41 computed on ISI Web of Science (September 2010) and 58 computed on Google Scholar.
