Researchers identify seven types of breast cancer for more accurate prognosis

A team of researchers, which also included Computer Science academics Professor Jon Garibaldi and Dr Daniele Soria, has identified seven distinct types of breast cancer.

The research was led by Dr Andy Green, and this discovery could lead to new and improved prognostic tests as well as revolutionise the way in which breast cancer patients are treated.
