Biography
Dr. Nabil El Ioini joined the School of Computer Science, University of Nottingham, Malaysia as an Associate Professor. Previously, Nabil was an assistant professor at the Software and Systems Engineering Research Group (SwSE), at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano in Italy. His research interests lie in the area of software engineering, cloud computing quality assessment, and software security. Currently, he is working on the design of conceptual architectures for managing Edge computing and IoT components. He is particularly focusing on designing architectural patterns that address Edge computing requirements in terms of scalability, orchestration, security, and privacy using some of the mainstream technologies such as container and blockchain technologies.
