Biography

Dr Alfie Cameron (they/them) is a Transitional Assistant Professor in Computer Science. Based in the Responsible Digital Futures research group, their focus centres on responsibility and ethics in technologies. Alfie is also part of the Responsible AI UK group, working with colleagues across the UK in all matters AI.

From a background in Human Geography, Alfie's research uses multidisciplinary approaches that are typically framed through an intersectional feminist lens. They are interested in all things EDI, justice, RRI, and responsibility and tackle a wide range of themes from museums to air space management to failure.
