Recent Publications

I regularly appear on the University's popular YouTube channel Computerphile, in which I cover topics ranging from computer security through to image analysis and machine learning.

Current Research

My research is in Computer Vision, particularly the application and adaptation of modern machine learning techniques to real-world problems. Much of my research is focused on bioimage analysis, particularly plant phenotyping. My research aligns with Nottingham's Future Food Beacon of Excellence.

Past Research

Previously I have been involved in projects on human and object tracking, and group / event detection in video sequences.
