Disability information

The School of Computer Science welcomes applications from all suitably qualified students and your application will be considered on its academic merit. Our aim is to provide a high level of support and guidance which starts from the moment you first contact us.

Services for students who have a disability or a long-term medical condition

The University is committed to providing student-led support for students with disabilities and long-term medical conditions to ensure they can flourish in their learning. If you have a disability, mental health difficulty, long-term medical condition, autistic spectrum condition, or a specific learning difference such as dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia or ADHD, you can apply for a support plan to put in place accommodations for your needs. You are encouraged to let the University know about your disability/condition at an early stage, since disclosure at application can help us provide appropriate support services for you. We particularly encourage you to visit the University in advance of your application to view our facilities. You can also visit our Disability Support Services pages to find out more about the forms of support we provide.
