Explore your funding opportunities well in advance—we recommend that you begin researching at least a year before your proposed start date.

Student Services has a comprehensive section on Student Funding, with information on sources of finance available from Government agencies and the University.
Please note that students can potentially get funding for our four year undergraduate MSci programmes through the normal Student Finance application channels. If you wish to make a funding enquiry in relation to your particular circumstance, please contact your relevant student funding body (Student Finance England/Wales/NI or SAAS) or the University’s Financial Support team at e: firstname.lastname@example.org, t: +44 (0) 115 82 32071.
Please note that no application form is required for any of these School undergraduate scholarships. Cheques will be automatically generated and issued to successful students at the appropriate time.

Scholarships for UK Students
A-Level Achievement Award
Open to all 'A' level UK fee paying students, new to the University of Nottingham, enrolled on one of the undergraduate programmes listed below in the Session 2016/17 and remaining enrolled as at 1 December 2017 is as follows:
£3000 (1st year only) for students on all single honours programmes achieving A*AA at A Level
Please note: A levels must have been taken at one sitting
Undergraduate Summer School Participant Scholarships
£1000 (1st year only) for students on all undergraduate programmes who participated in the University’s Summer School programmes and who remain enrolled as at 1 December 2017.
Scholarships for International Students
Undergraduate International Scholarships
Open to all international fee paying students, new to the University of Nottingham. who remain enrolled as at 1 December 2017
- who exceed the academic conditions of an offer which the School sets them
- who receive an unconditional offer which exceeds the typical academic criteria during the standard UCAS application round (up to 30 June 2017).
£2000 (1st year only) for students on all Single Honours programmes
You might also be eligible for one of the many scholarships managed by the International Office.
Women in Computer Science Scholarship
If you are a Home/EU female student who achieved AAA at A level (or equivalent) can apply for this £3000 award. You need to successfully pass your first year and write an essay titled 'What inspired me to study Computer Science?' We will provide further information in your first year of study.
Undergraduate Students Exceptional Achievement Award
- In Year 2, to those students across the School’s single honours programmes who achieve the top 10 average first sit exam results from the first year cohort
- In Year 3, to those students across the School’s single honours programmes who achieve the top 10 average first sit exam results from the second year cohort
- In Year 4, to the student across our four-year masters programmes who achieves the highest first sit exam result average from the third year cohort
