“Cape Malea: From the Homeric to Modern Landscape”

The International Symposium for the Cultural & Environmental Heritage and Landscape on is organised by the CSPS, the Society of Velanidiotes “Myrtidiotissa” and the Municipality of Monemvasia, in collaboration with the Aikaterini Laskaridis Foundation and the Mediterranean Institute for Nature and Anthropos (Med-INA), under the auspices of the Prefecture of the Peloponnese, on the occasion of the Ratification of the European Landscape Convention in Greece. The Symposium will be held in tribute to the memory of Capt. Vasilis Constantakopoulos (Costamare).
 
Venue: Conference Centre "Petra" in Monemvasia, Laconia, restored lighthouse of Cape Malea (by foot on May 1 2011).
