Join leading academics for a discussion about the ‘Lord of Vapheio’ and the warriors of Bronze Age Greece

Myths about heroes are constantly changing. Historical Spartan warriors had distorted memories of ‘Bronze Age’ heroes, but their hoplite warfare with a phalanx of ‘equals’ was not at all like the image presented by Prehistoric warrior-burials: Symbols of wealth, status and power mark them. But is all what it seems?
