These engagement sessions are an opportunity for you to find out more about the Strategic Case for Change and provide your feedback.
You may have already seen communications about the upcoming Future Nottingham 2 drop‑in sessions taking place across our campuses, where you’ll have the opportunity to share your views on the Strategic Case for Change. In addition, we will be hosting a series of in-person and virtual engagement sessions to explore the Strategic Case for Change in more depth and gather detailed feedback. These sessions are now open for sign‑up via the link below.
Engagement sessions
What are the engagement sessions?
These sessions are designed to help you better understand the Strategic Case for Change and to provide a space for open discussion and in-depth feedback. They will be:
- Discussion-based rather than presentation-led
- Focussed on small-group conversations around key themes
- Designed for open, inclusive and constructive conversations
Participants will have the opportunity to move between discussion topics, hear a range of perspectives, and build on others’ feedback and thoughts. No preparation is needed - just a willingness to take part.
What will the sessions cover?
The sessions will focus on key concepts and themes from the case for change and how to provide feedback. It will cover:
- The FN2 Strategic Case for Change
- What the proposals are looking to change and what will stay the same
- Open and interactive space to discuss and feed back on the case for change
- Next steps
The Strategic Case for Change outlines the proposed strategic direction for Future Nottingham 2. Development of detailed future structures and changes to roles are yet to be determined. The session will not:
- Make final decisions
- Present confirmed plans or outcomes
- Focus on detailed organisational structures or role-level changes
- Address individual cases or issues

- Engagement Session 2: Monday 16 March, 14:30–15:30, Virtual
- Engagement Session 3: Wednesday 18 March, 12.30-13.30, X2 Chemistry Building, University Park Campus
How do I sign up?
Spaces for the engagement sessions are limited, so please register using the link below.
There is a virtual and an in-person option. Once you select your preferred session you will receive a diary invite with agenda details and location.
Drop-in/roadshow sessions
These informal sessions give you the chance to pop by and provide your views at a time that suits you. There’s no need to sign up - just stop by when you’re free.

How will my feedback be used?
Feedback from the sessions will be:
- Captured thematically (not attributed to individuals)
- Used to inform understanding of the impacts of the changes proposed in the Strategic Case for Change
- Shared with senior leaders and governance groups as part of the next phase
