[POSTPONED] Race Equality Charter - have your say

Tuesday, 03 March 2020
Please note that all of the focus groups listed below have now been postponed until further notice.

In May 2019 we launched the Race Equality Charter Survey, the University’s largest-ever survey into racial equality on campus. We had a great response but we want to drill down even further and find out more about your thoughts towards race equality at the University of Nottingham.

The Race Equality Charter focus groups give you an opportunity to expand on key themes raised in the survey – or to have your say if you missed out on the initial survey. You’ll have the opportunity to discuss the measures we might take to improve the experiences of all our BAME students.

The focus groups will be taking place from Wednesday 25 March, as follows:

  • Wednesday 25 March, 2-3pm: A6, QMC
  • Friday 27 March, 2-3pm: B6, George Green Library, University Park
  • Monday 30 March, 10-11am: C2 Exchange Building, Jubilee Campus
  • Tuesday 31 March, 10-11am: C15 Trent Building, University Park
  • Thursday 2 April, 1.30-2.30pm: B16 ESLC, University Park

The focus groups will be informal discussions with interactive elements. They will be safe spaces for you to discuss your experiences, and how we can improve the diversity and sense of belonging at the University.

If you are interested in contributing, please complete this Microsoft form to indicate which session(s) you can attend.

The content of the sessions will be the same, so you only need to attend one of them. If you took part in the focus groups in November and December, you do not need to take part again.
