Removal of university Z: drives

It's time to say goodbye to Z: drive and hello to OneDrive.

As you might remember, last year we announced that the university will be removing the personal file store (Z: drive) service. If you use your university Z: drive, make sure you migrate your data to OneDrive now. For more information and easy step-by-step guidance, visit SharePoint.

Action required – migrate your Z: drive data now

From Monday 21 June, your Z: drive will become read-only. This means you will no longer be able to save new data or make changes to existing data on your Z: drive. You must copy and paste to OneDrive any data you wish to keep.

All access to Z: drives will be removed by end of July 2021 (date to be confirmed).
