We are bringing together teachers and researchers from across our ITE schools partnership to share their experiences and expertise with us. Through this free CPD event attendees will gain valuable insights into approaches and strategies we can all use to promote diversity, equity and inclusion in our schools and classrooms. There will also be an opportunity to network with like-minded educators committed to creating and promoting inclusive learning environments.
The conference will be a face-to-face event open to all staff in our primary and secondary partnership schools, irrespective of whether or not they have worked with beginning teachers from the University of Nottingham.
Registration is from 4.15pm. The event will start at 4.30pm with a keynote from Professor Jo McIntyre, whose research explores how education can improve the lives of those who are marginalised or disadvantaged by society.
There will then be a series of seminars/workshops that will focus on some of the research taking place in local partnership schools. The conference will finish with light refreshments and an opportunity to network from 6.30pm.
