Description

Are you interested in becoming a teacher? Join our online open day to find out more about the University of Nottingham's Ofsted-rated 'outstanding' Primary PGCE and Secondary* PGCE courses and how to take the next step towards your new career.

* At secondary level we offer English, geography, history, maths, modern languages and science: biology, chemistry and physics.

The event will be split into two sections:

4-5pm

Talk by Director of Initial Teacher Education, Stef Sullivan and Collaborative Partnerships Manager, Paula Hancock.

They will explain the postgraduate routes into teaching in England and explore the University of Nottingham's Primary and Secondary PGCE courses through a set of questions that will enable you to compare and contrast different teacher training courses.

There will be an opportunity to ask general questions about teacher training and our PGCE courses.

5-6pm

You will then have the opportunity to meet with staff from our secondary subject teams and our primary team. They will tell you more about our individual courses and answer any questions you have.

This is a free event and registration is required. The event will be held online and will utilise Microsoft Teams. Joining instructions will be provided to all those registered on the day of the event.
