Description

A School of Education seminar hosted by the Centre for Research in Human Flourishing

This is a hybrid event and you can attend on Jubilee Campus, or online on MS Teams

Presented by Dr Anne Emerson

The focus of this seminar is to look at current models and understanding of neurodivergence and explore how that intersects with person-centred theory.

Anne has over 45 years' experience of working with neurodiverse children and adults as a speech and language therapist, educator, trainer and parent support worker. In recent years Anne trained as an integrative counsellor with a focus on disability and neurodiversity. She currently works for a charity providing free and low-cost counselling for disabled people and their family members, and as resident counsellor for an alternative educational provision for neurodivergent children.
