ESRC-funded research student elected to BERA Early Career Researcher Network

Congratulations to Brittany Wright who has been elected Midlands representative for the British Educational Research Association (BERA) Early Career Researcher (ECR) Network.

Brittany is an Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) funded doctoral student in the School of Education. Her research explores women’s experiences of formal and informal learning across three generations in a former coal-mining town in the Midlands.

The BERA ECR Network aims to offer support to those who are in the process of completing their masters or doctorate in education, as well as those who have completed their studies within the past five years. It seeks to meet the needs of not only those who are pursuing studies and/or careers as researchers within Higher Education, but also those who are practitioners seeking to undertake research to support their development.

For more information, please visit the BERA website.
