PhD Student Gains Place on UK-Canada Globalink Doctoral Exchange Scheme

Congratulations to ESRC-funded doctoral researcher, Brittany Wright, who has been accepted on a prestigious international postgraduate placement with the UK-Canada Globalink Doctoral Exchange Scheme. The scheme is jointly administered by UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) and Mitacs. On the Canadian side, the scheme is a part of the Mitacs Globalink Research Awards (GRA) program. 

Brittany is a research student in the School of Education, currently supervised by Professor Pat Thomson. In Canada she will be working on her project on rural teacher education at Arcadi University in Nova Scotia with Dr Michael Corbett, who is an international leader in this field.
