Creating Empathetic Leaders in Post-Conflict Iraq

Joel Bond is a global traveller, writer, public speaker and a teacher. He has also recently completed an MA Education at the University of Nottingham.

Joel's dissertation was based on his experience of teaching for five years in post-conflict Iraq, where he used the concept of service-learning to develop and run a programme for senior students to change their attitudes and behaviours.  His experience is reflected in a blog post published by the Inter-agency Network for Education in Emergencies (INEE).
