Dr Yuwei Xu appointed National Gender Specialist

NAREE International Limited (NAREE) have appointed Dr Ywuei Xu as their National Gender Specialist.

Based in Hong Kong, with offices in four other major Chinese cities, NAREE is a professional consultancy that provides technical and project management services for sustainable development projects in the public sector.

Dr Xu is an Assistant Professor in Education and Teacher Development and a member of the Centre for International Education Research.  His research focusses on topics such as gender and men in early childhood education, LGBT teachers, child agency, child-centred diversity and quality education, parenting, and women in STEM. His research is cross-cultural and comparative, and he has conducted projects in contexts such as the UK, China, Europe, Australia, and South Africa in collaboration with international researchers.
