Dr Charlie Davis to present at SRHE Conference

Dr Charlie Davis will be presenting a paper and poster at the Society for Research into Higher Education (SRHE) international conference which takes place in December 2023.

The paper title is ‘Academics of working-class heritage talking: a participatory storytelling project with academics working in UK-based elite institutions’.

The poster title is ‘Representations of becoming an academic of working-class heritage: a participatory study using composite storytelling and (interactive) comic-based methods’.

Both are from the Academics of working-class heritage talking project.

Dr Davis is a member of the Learning Sciences Research Institute and his main research area is the development of socially just pedagogies to support learners from marginalised backgrounds gain access to higher education
