Qiaohui Xue awarded student conference funding from American Educational Research Association
Congratulations to third year PhD student Qiaohui Xue who has been selected by the American Educational Research Association (AERA) to receive financial support from the Annual Meeting Graduate Student Assistance Fund. This support is offered as part of AERA’s ongoing commitment to expand student access to the
AREA annual meeting
, which is the largest educational conference in the world. The event will place in Denver, Colorado in April.
Qiaohui will share her work 'Gender subjectivities and habitus: Understanding Chinese international students’ experiences at UK universities‘ in a symposium entitled 'Gendered and sexual norms in university contexts: Experiences from Chinese students'. This session will take place on Saturday 26 April.
