Measuring the Rogerian concept of the fully functioning person in Chinese: translation and validation of the simplified Chinese version of the Strathclyde Inventory (C-SI-20)

Dr Shun Chen has published new research translating and validating a tool that measures the “fully functioning person,” a concept from Carl Rogers describing people who are open, flexible, authentic, and continually growing toward their potential. The study makes this measure reliable for Chinese-speaking communities and supports cross-cultural research into wellbeing and human flourishing.

The research article can be accessed in the international journal Person-Centered & Experiential Psychotherapies
