I am interested in helping beginning teachers to become reflective practitioners who enjoy their work and learn ongoingly. I would hope that their pupils would enjoy being taught by them and gain valuable understandings and skills as a result.

I am also interested in societal inequality, the degree to which it is necessary, systems which promote and maintain it and those which reduce it.
