Dr Sam Dakka earned his Ph.D. In Aerospace Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park,USA. His expertise is in combustion, propulsion and aerodynamics. Dr. Dakka pursued microgravity droplet combustion and advanced measurements techniques research at NASA Glenn Research Center in the framework of his Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the University of California-Davis. Dr Dakka was appointed as Senior Advanced Engineer and combustion Aero Engineer at Honeywell Aerospace and GE-Aviation respectively. Following his industrial positions, Dr Dakka was appointed a lecturer in Aerospace Engineering at Sheffield Hallam University, 2014 and was promoted to Senior Lecturer on March, 2015. Dr Dakka joined The University of Nottingham, 2018 as an assistant professor conducting teaching and research on Aerodynamics, thermofluids, two phase flow, Aero engines and space systems
