Description

Our Postgraduate Seminar this week will comprise of three mini presentations:

Benoit Humbert, who will be reflecting upon his time in Nottingham - he has been visiting us from his permanent University, EPHE in France. Benoit has been working with Professor Judith Jesch and his working title is 'The Circulation of Men and Goods in Old Russia, 9-12th C'.

Jing Zhang, who is visiting us this semester from the Malaysia campus. Her working thesis title is 'Genesis of Linguistic Distance; Discursive co-Construction of Heterogenous Self/s and Others in and out of English Classes.'

and 

Richard Brown, who is co-supervised by English and Computer Science. His working thesis title is 'Multimodal performance, immersion and improvisation', and is located at the intersection between Computer Science and the Performing Arts.

Come along to find out about some of the work going on with projects jointly linked to the School.
