This is the 10th meeting of the British Association for Applied Linguistics Special Interest Group on Language, Gender and Sexuality. In April 2017, the event theme is ‘Language, Discrimination and Conflict’.
At this event, we will explore the ways in which language can ignite and perpetuate discriminatory practices, yet can also be a vehicle through which such discrimination can be resisted or challenged.
For full details, including the call for papers, please see the 10th BAAL LGaS SIG event: Language, Discrimination and Conflict website.
