The Digital team are responsible for producing and managing video content in support of student recruitment activities and the reputation of the University. They work with marketing colleagues across the University to ensure promotional content is of the highest quality and optimised for best performance.
The team includes ‘Digital Ambassadors’ - current students who create content and input into digital activities. This consists of vlogging, blogging, Facebook live and Instagram and Snapchat takeovers.
The Digital team manage the University’s YouTube and Vimeo channels, as well as curating the public video galleries on MediaSpace. They can advise on best practice video formats for use on social media platforms as well as live-streaming through Facebook and Instagram.
They lead on initiatives such as the #UoNVideoBox, which can be used at events to capture video footage. The team also look after the video brand, GDPR procedures for video, the drone code, the approved video suppliers list.
