Biographical details

The aunt of Antonia Cayacomiba, who was married to José Castro, cousin of Diego Túpac Amaru, she was arrested in 1783 at Tinta, Cuzco, in connection with the Túpac Amaru rebellion. (Campbell, 196)

She helped gather supplies in the Túpac Amaru rebellion. She fought alongside Diego Túpac Amaru (her brother-in-law?) She died around 1783, on her way to exile in Mexico, to which she had been banished for her part in the Túpac Amaru rebellion. (Guardia, 46)
