Biographical details

Born in Mendoza in 1828, she married Bernardo de Irigoyen on 12 October 1850 and they moved to Buenos Aires. She worked for charitable institutions, the Sociedad de Beneficencia, Hermanas de los Pobres, Damas de la Miseriecordia, Hermanas de los Desamparados de Santa Fe and San Vicente de Paúl, and created orphanages, founded mutual benefit societies etc. She died in Buenos Aires on 5 June 1893.
