Biographical details

She regularly attended the Méndez tertulias in Asunción with her brother Andrés Gómez in 1815. She wrote letters to Juana Bianquet de Méndez when the latter was in exile. Bianquet describes her as a "dear and worthy friend" who entertained them with witty puns and rhymes and fine words. (Robertson, 46, 59)
