Biographical details

She was born in Buenos Aires on 18 April 1757, the daughter of Domingo Alfonso de Lajarrota (alcalde in 1758) and María Josefa de la Quintana. She married Agustín Aguirre. She donated one ounce of gold each month to the Upper Peru expedition from June 1810 throughout its duration. She died in Buenos Aires on 15 June 1822. (Carranza, 42-43)
