Biographical details

She was born in Córdoba on 26 June 1787, the daughter of Francisco del Signo and Petrona Isabel Echenique. Her two brothers, Norberto and Carlos were among the first to join the independence movement in 1810. She donated 16 pesos fuertes to the Upper Peru expedition. She married three times: to Pedro Nolazco Guzmán, to Francisco Mallea and to Andrés Avelino de Aramurú, who was a governor of Córdoba in 1835. She died on 19 July 1869. (Carranza, 74-75)
