Biographical details

She was born in Buenos Aires on 11 August 1778. In 1793 she married creole Angel Fernández Blanco in Yapeyú. He was an enthusiastic and active patriot who took part in the independence cause in Corrientes. She donated an ounce of gold and her jewellery to the movement. She died in Buenos Aires on 19 October 1845. (Carranza, 82-83)
