Biographical details

An actress from Caracas, she married Pedro Villalobos in 1829. In 1836 she went to the courts to divorce him for abuse. She had supported him for seven years, but he wanted her to stop working. She successfully obtained the right to earn money to support herself. (Díaz, 166)
