Records and Information Management is part of the Information Compliance Team within the Registrar's Department. We are responsible for the following:

The team is responsible for producing policies and guidance for ensuring University compliance with relevant legislation, including advising members of the public how to make requests for information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOI), the Environmental Information Regulations (EIR), or the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR, GDPR).

Freedom of Information

The Freedom of Information Act 2000 gives the public the right to access information held by public authorities (such as universities).
