Date(s)
Wednesday 11th June 2025 (11:00-13:00)
Description

Are you researching issues in the Global South, or are you interested in exploring it? ICEMiC (Identities, Citizenship, Equalities and Migration Centre) and IcPSP (International Centre for Public and Social Policy), both based in the School of Sociology and Social Policy, are co-organising a Café Ideas event on Researching the Global South. The aim is to facilitate mutual learning and future collaboration.

There will be a collection of short presentations from academic staff and PGRs on their research ideas on the Global South. Participants are welcome to offer constructive feedback. The event will be followed by a light lunch for networking (1-1:30). Academic staff and PGRs across all disciplines and their research collaborators are welcome.

There is the option to join online but the best experience comes from attending in person (especially as catering is provided)!

If you are interested, please email me at robin.hutchinson@nottingham.ac.uk  and I will forward you the event invitation for your diary. We hope you can join us!
