An interactive mapping resource on the histories of slavery and colonialism in the counties of Angus, Norfolk and Nottinghamshire in the UK has now been launched. It is hosted on the webpage of the AHRC project on Historicising and reconnecting rural community: Black presences and the legacies of slavery and colonialism in rural Britain, c.1600-1939 which also outlines the wider work being undertaken by Dr Susanne Seymour and Dr Lowri Jones.
