Biography

Nicholas graduated with an LLB from the University of Exeter in 2014. He began his studies at the University of Nottingham in 2015, working towards an LLM in International Human Rights Law. Prior to submitting his dissertation, he secured a place on the Research Internship at the Human Rights Law Centre (HRLC), University of Nottingham. He was awarded an LLM with Distinction in 2017 and following this provided research and editorial assistance, under the guidance of Professor David Harris, for the latest edition of Harris, O'Boyle and Warbrick, Law of the European Convention on Human Rights (2018), as well as ad hoc support for other HRLC projects.

Nicholas is now reading for his PhD at the University; a theoretical and doctrinal research project, exploring the right to freedom of expression and the regulation of online information. His supervisors are Professor Dominic McGoldrick and Professor Paul Roberts.
