Your chance to win one of four great party games (now closed)

 Visiting the fairs during Welcome Week? Pop by the library stall and guess the number of leisure reading books in our collections for your chance to win one of four great party games - perfecr to play with your new house or course mates.

Who can enter

This prize draw is only open to new or current University of Nottingham students.

Closing date

The closing date of the competition is 6pm on Friday 30 September. Any entries received after this date will not be entered into the prize draw.

How to enter 

There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this prize draw. In order to enter you need to fill out a competition entry form at the Libraries Welcome Fair stalls and guess the number of print books available in our leisure reading collection. These are available: 

  • SU Welcome Fair, David Ross Sports Village (University Park) - Monday 26 and Tuesday 27 September, 10am - 4pm
  • SB Welcome Fair, Sports Centre (Sutton Bonington), Wednesday 28 September, 1 - 5pm
  • Welcome Villages (University Park and Jubilee Campus), Wednesday 28 - Friday 30 September, 11am - 4pm

It is limited to one entry per person.

Selection of winner

The prize draw will take place on Monday 3 October. All correct entries will be entered into the draw. 

Four names will be drawn at random to win:

  • First prize: Sushi Go
  • Second prize: Bananagrams
  • Third prize: Peach Snaps
  • Fourth prize: Uno

We will contact all winners to notify them that they have won - if we do not receive a response from a winner within three days of notifying them that they have won, we will draw again.

Notification of winner

We will only contact winners.

By taking part in our competition you will automatically be entered into the prize draw and agree for the University of Nottingham Libraries to contact you if you are picked as a winner. All data will be stored in accordance with the University privacy notice and entry data will be deleted by the end of October 2022.

Once all winners have acknowledged and accepted their prize, we will post their first name and subject on this webpage and in other communications as appropriate, including social media.
