At Nottingham, our medicine courses enable you to gain the clinical knowledge and skills, confidence, problem-solving skills and empathy you need for a successful career in medicine.
Choose the right study path for your needs. You can choose to study either a five-year BMedSci and BMBS or a six-year BMedSci and BMBS with foundation year course. Or apply to study at Nottingham, at the Lincoln Medical School or both. We also offer a four-year Graduate Entry Medicine course for those who have graduated previously or are currently studying another subject at University.
If you choose either a five or six year Medicine course, you'll gain two degrees, a BMedSci and a BMBS*. The additional BMedSci degree gives you a unique opportunity to undertake an in-depth research project on a topic from a wide selection of options we provide.
*Not applicable to our Graduate Entry Medicine course.
