Helen is a Principal Research Fellow, Chartered Psychologist and NIHR Fellowship holder. Working alongside clinical and academic colleagues in Hearing Sciences at the NIHR Nottingham Biomedical Research Centre, her program of research aims to evaluate novel digital interventions to support adults with hearing loss and those with whom they communicate. Helen is specialty lead for ENT within the NIHR Clinical Research Network (CRN), a member of the British Society of Audiology (BSA) and Vice Chair for the BSA Special Interest Group for Cognition in Hearing, a member of the British Academy of Audiology, an Associate of the Higher Education Academy (AHEA) and Associate Fellow (AFBPsS), and Chartered Member (CPsychol) of the British Psychological Society (BPS).
Helen has previously done work with the Guardian, the Telegraph and BBC Radio Nottingham.
Helen is interested in hearing about potential external consultancy and research collaboration opportunities.
