Asia Expertise: Clinical trials of intervention that target childhood under nutrition in Asian countries: Completed MRC DfID funded cluster randomised controlled trial of the effect of a specialised microfinance intervention (Rojiroti) on under 5 year old children nutrition. Following on from this project, working on social and anthropological investigations on the mechanisms of this effect. 

Professor Smyth has previous experience of speaking to both the broadcast and print media.
